Where can I buy fresh bread?
The bakery in Sassnitz old town is about a 10-minute walk away. I am happy to let you know current opening times and the best options nearby before your stay.
Which walking routes start directly from the apartment?
The Hochuferweg towards Jasmund National Park begins right on the promenade. In about 90 minutes you can walk to the first chalk cliffs – no car, no bus needed.
What is there to do in bad weather?
Rügen has more to offer than beach and sunshine. The Ozeaneum in Stralsund, the Chalk Museum at Königsstuhl, the HMS Otus Submarine Museum in the harbour and the Galileo Discovery World are all excellent rainy-day options.
Where can I park?
The apartment has a private parking space right at the building, included in the rental price. No searching, no paying, no stress.
Can I arrive without a car?
Yes. Sassnitz is well served by train via Stralsund. From Sassnitz station to Villa Seeblick is about a 10-minute walk along the promenade.
Are there good restaurants nearby?
Right on the promenade and at the harbour you will find several good restaurants – from fresh fish to relaxed harbour cuisine. I am happy to share my personal recommendations after you book.
